In order for the troop to reserve seats for the scouts for horseback riding on September 20, we need to have firm commitments by the Court of Honor, i.e. September 7. The fee for the event is $80. Scouts who previously expressed an interest in going should bring the fee to the Court of Honor and sign up with Christina Davis through email: cddavis30@aol.com or cell: 407-454-4107.

Remember to get permission from Mr. Reece BEFORE starting ANY merit badge!!  See attached image, but here are some of the details below.  Text Mrs. Lester at 321-263-9188 because the registration contact information specifically asks for 1 Unit representative to contact them.  So let Mrs. Lester know you want to sign up and she will communicate with the people offering the class once you verify Mr. Reece has approved your starting the merit badge.

The troop activity planned for September is horseback riding at Rock Springs Guest Ranch. The tentative plan is to ride on Saturday, Sept 20 at 10:30 AM. A one-hour trail ride costs about $79.

Troop meeting this Sunday at the regular time. The troop will be holding elections for new officers as well as learning knots.

We need at least 6 scouts to secure this special group rate, and currently we have 4 signed up. If your scout would like to bowl longer than one hour, please send additional funds accordingly. I’ll be collecting all payments at the bowling center the day of the event.
